Hi! I'm a software engineer in the Boston area.

I'm a generalist systems programmer with experience building large scale, high performance distributed systems as well as desktop and web apps.

I'm currently exploring novel observability techniques that enable humans and agents to ship software of a higher quality than was ever previously possible.

Previously, I was the Platform Lead at Bluesky, where I ensured that the site operated efficiently and cheaply at enormous scale.

Before that, I worked at Chess.com where I developed and operated the largest chess engine server fleet in the world.

Reaching even further back, I helped take dozens early-stage startups from zero to one (and beyond!) at a startup incubator.
